We Believe all children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These kids end up resting on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their peace and health.
When we met Easton, he and his mother recently moved into a new home. Because of just starting a new job, finances were tough, and there was only one bed for them to share. Though they were grateful for a warm place to lay their head, this single mom wanted more for her son.
When we learned about the situation, a special group of Marked For Life friends pitched in together to bless their community.
We quickly found a mattress, box spring, and bed frame. We called this mother and let her know, and you could hear the relief in her voice. Finally, her son's room could be complete, and she could receive much-needed rest.
While gathering supplies, we discovered Easton's HUGE passion for Spiderman. It got even better from there. We went to our local store and got all things Spiderman to complete his new big bed. He was so excited to have a Spiderman bed, and you could tell by seeing the joy on his face.
We will continue ministering to this family through our restoration hope program with a designated care coordinator to connect them with a local church.
Because of you, we met this family and fulfilled their physical and spiritual needs. Our heart is to see restoration in the lives of families in need, and because of amazing partners, we can do that every day. Thank you for your generosity.
