About Us

At Marked For Life Ministries, we are committed to transforming lives and restoring hope in Fort Payne, Alabama along with all of DeKalb County, Alabama. We offer essential services and support to individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and food insecurity, helping them achieve sustainable independence.

Our Programs

Crisis Services:
- 24/7 Hope Line: Available around the clock for those in need.
- Crisis Response Team: Rapidly responds to crisis calls, local disasters, and mobilizes warming/cooling stations during extreme temperatures.
- The Hope Center: A holistic crisis center dedicated to helping neighbors achieve self-sufficiency.
- Medical Center: Provides primary care and medication at no cost for the uninsured.

Community Engagement through Deliver Hope
Major Deliver Hope Events: Four major projects annually engage over 500 volunteers and 50 churches, including:
  - Love Night: Special event for single mothers.
  - Back to School Outreach: Provides over 500 backpacks and haircuts to students.
  - Thanksgiving Dinner: Feeds over 1,500 neighbors.
  - Christmas Blessings: Brings joy to around 100 children.

  - Micro Projects: Smaller initiatives throughout the year to unify the local church and foster community connections.
 

  - FeedDeKalb: Rescues food that would otherwise go to waste and redistributes it to hubs across DeKalb County. Last year, we rescued over 70,000 pounds of food, benefiting more than six partner organizations.
 

  - Clothed in Hope: We receive clothing donations to stock our clothing closet and support other ministry partners, ensuring those in need have access to necessary attire.
