With the upcoming school year quickly approaching, Marked For Life Ministries wanted to provide an opportunity for students and families to access material support for the school year. On July 30, 2022 Marked For Life Ministries hosted The Summer Block Party!
The Deliver Hope Project was structured to engage the community in a fun-filled and safe space. Parents were able to prepare their children for school in one location. 1000 Backpacks were provided to children, along with free youth haircuts and many opportunities for fun, including free lunch, bouncy houses, games, snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn.
"We were honored to be able to host this special event for DeKalb County neighbors. We remain grateful to our community sponsors and partners for their continued support. We couldn't provide these services and experiences to DeKalb County without the kindness of so many individuals." said Logan LeGrande
Over 1,000 came from all over DeKalb County to be a part of this fun, special day! One hundred volunteers representing over 50 churches attended and served the community. This event is made possible by many churches and partners through Marked For Life Ministries Deliver Hope Projects.
