Service in your community does so much more than impact those around you. Often it impacts you. Stephanie, a professional volunteer, shares her story of serving at The Hope Center.
"When you serve, you give your heart and your time to people that need to feel your love. It's about so much more than the physical assistance that we offer. It's the hope and love of the Lord that sustains our neighbors." Said, Stephanie
Like all volunteers, Stephanie has seen firsthand the impact that serving makes on her community. The encouraging part is seeing someone turn from completely hopeless to believe that there truly is hope. Neighbors often come in discouraged and hopeless, and by the next week, they know miracles are possible.
Every day, we see God work in the lives of those that we serve, and serving at The Hope Center gives an opportunity to see God move in impossible situations.
